Artist Statement

In a chaotic world that is constantly shifting I’m always trying to bring a sense of order to those everyday variable moments I observe. I’m not interested in the spectacular or the sensational. It is the brief pauses among the ordinary that lies a certain elegance and serenity that I find extraordinary. I try to construct my images in such a way that they work as a narrative on many levels. In other words the viewer receives from it whatever the viewer brings to it. It requires, on some level, the viewer’s participation and as a result, it’s personal.

The show will open on Friday, September 1st with an artists reception from 6 pm – 8:15 pm and will run until October 3, 2017.
